Whether hosting an intimate ceremony or an elaborate affair, the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum holds historic and romantic charm in the heart of Austin. The Garden offers winding pathways, tranquil ponds, and natural backdrops with celebrated bronze and stone sculptures placed within its landscape.

The UMLAUF can accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated dinner. With its open-air limestone and steel design, the Arbor is ideal for exchanging or viewing wedding vows. The Terrace Lawns can be easily tented to extend covered festivities and include atmospheric lighting. The Garden offers space among art for additional gathering.

Rental Time Frame

Evening rentals include eight hours. The times listed above include set-up, event and clean-up. Tenting and tree lighting may be installed the morning of your event by our approved vendors only, based on availability. Inquire for a detailed timeline.

Planning Services

The Museum does not provide planning, set-up or teardown services. Although not required, it is recommended all events consider engaging a planner to assist with set-up/teardown, staffing, catering and rental equipment.



The UMLAUF provides a curated list of preferred vendors. These vendors have experience at the UMLAUF and include caterers, rental companies, florists, bands, DJs, and valet services. It is encouraged to work with a preferred vendor, as this will make coordinating your event a breeze. The only exclusive vendors are our tent and tree lighting providers. Rental rates include UMLAUF staffing for each event. A security guard will assist guests from the overflow parking lot to the Museum and ensure the event is safe, seamless and secure. An UMLAUF on-duty venue manager will orient guests and vendors, as well as assist with maintaining the Museum, Garden and artwork. Events with more than 250 guests may require additional staffing at $250 per staff member.


To complete the contract process, a refundable deposit of $1000 is due at the time of contract signing. The deposit is in addition to the rental rate and is refunded 30-45 days after the event, less any damages, extra staffing, or cleanup fees. The full rental fee is due 90 days prior to the event. All transactions may be made via check or credit card. 

Art & Exhibits

The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum has rotating exhibits that are subject to change without notification. Art and exhibits cannot be moved, removed, covered, altered or added to for any events. The indoor Gallery is not included as a part of the event rental and will remain locked during the event.
