The UMLAUF provides guided tours to public, private, and independent schools, serving 4,000 AISD students annually. We also provide free tours and admission to all Austin public school groups, as well as transportation assistance through bus reimbursements to Austin Independent School District. School groups located outside AISD may call or email for information regarding admission fee waivers. Please schedule your tour at least three weeks in advance.
While the UMLAUF continues to monitor Garden capacity due to COVID-19, we are offering Pod Tours for small groups. Please contact our Director of Programs for more information and to book a tour.
Thanks to a conservation process that involves regular washing and waxing, the UMLAUF houses the largest collection of touchable bronze sculptures in Texas. Our Touch Tours offer unique opportunities for the visually impaired and other kinesthetic learners to formally engage with the subject matter and materials employed by Charles Umlauf.
The UMLAUF orientation video is available with captions for the hearing impaired.
