TOUR EXPERIENCES
PUBLIC GARDEN TOURS
Join us on the third Saturday of every month at 12PM for a fun and insightful tour through the Garden. Our highly trained docents will lead small groups through the UMLAUF, creating a unique and memorable experience rich in history. The tours are included with admission and registration is not required. Come see the Garden from a whole new perspective!
GUIDED HOME & STUDIO TOUR
Experience a rare, behind-the-scenes look at Charles Umlauf’s historic home and studio. While we prepare the site for full public access, we offer a limited number of private tours by advance reservation. This experience includes a guided Garden tour and a visit to the spaces where Umlauf created hundreds of artworks.
The site is not ADA compliant, please contact us with advanced notice if accessiblity accommodations are needed.
GUIDED GALLERY TOUR
Add a guided experience through our indoor gallery exhibition to learn more about the artwork on display from our experienced docents.
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS
Thanks to a conservation process that involves regular washing and waxing, the UMLAUF houses the largest collection of touchable bronze sculptures in Texas. Our Touch Tours offer unique opportunities for visually impaired guests and kinesthetic learners to formally engage with the subject matter and materials employed by Charles Umlauf.
