The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum

The UMLAUF is located on Barton Springs and Azie Morton Roads, across the street from Barton Springs Pool and catty corner to Zilker Metropolitan Park.
Parking in the UMLAUF parking lot is limited, but overflow parking can be found across Azie Morton at Wright Field or in the nearby Zilker lots. We encourage public transportation and bike racks can be found on the premises. Zilker also offers a shuttle services, linked below.
ACCESSIBILITY
The outdoor bronze sculptures have been washed and waxed for gentle touching, primarily to benefit our blind and visually impaired guests. Visitors are not permitted to touch our stone sculptures.

The sculpture garden consists of loose decomposed granite trails. While this surface can be suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers, it may pose accessibility issues especially as surface weathering can occur with heavy rainfall. As part of the UMLAUF's Historic Preservation, Expansion, and Unification Plan, the UMLAUF plans to reconstruct portions of the trails to make them fully accessible.

​We have one wheelchair on site that can be used by guests on a first-come first-served basis.
​​
ASL student interpreters are typically on site for our monthly Family Days, Sculpture Garden Tour + Storytime, and our 11AM gallery tours the last Friday of the month.

VISITING TIPS

Smoking, food, and drink are not permitted.

No dogs are allowed with the exception of service animals.

Personal photography is permitted, while professional photography requires an additional charge. Learn more here.

Young children must be accompanied by an adult.

Climbing sculptures is strictly prohibited. Touching works inside the Gallery is also prohibited.

Visitors typically spend thirty minutes to an hour and a half at the UMLAUF.
