YOGA IN THE GARDEN
The UMLAUF occupies a serene green space in the heart of Zilker Park in Austin. To complement the therapeutic qualities of the UMLAUF Garden, we partner with yoga instructors around Austin to offer a wide range of health and wellness classes. See below for upcoming events!

Yoga with Brigitte
Yoga is an experience for the senses. Every Wednesday and Friday morning, instructor Brigitte Edery teaches Yoga in the Garden, a Hatha-style class for all levels of experience.
Brigitte's years of chronic back pain inspired her to begin her journey into yoga. She's been a dedicated student of yoga since 1987, a teacher since 2000, registered with the Yoga Alliance since 2003, and registered through Anusara Yoga since 2007. In 2009, she was certified in Thai Yoga Therapy with Jonas Westring and has taught yoga classes at the UMLAUF since 2012.

Monthly Yoga in the Garden
The UMLAUF hosts monthly in-person outdoor yoga and meditation classes. These classes are currently limited to 10 people per class to allow for ample distance between participants, and typically take place when the UMLAUF is closed to the public from 10 - 11am on Saturday or Sunday.
Movements and Mimosas
During the summer months the UMLAUF offers a special monthly class called Movements and Mimosas. This yoga class is open for a wide range of levels with focus on the breath, establishing ease, moving energy and feeling grounded. After a 60-minute class you'll be able to roam the beautiful grounds and sip on a mimosa. Stay tuned for dates in 2021!
Private Yoga and Meditation Classes
Reserve time for a private yoga, meditation, or sound bath experience in the Garden for up to 10 people! This makes for a unique socially distanced birthday activity, bachelorette party, or just a fun outdoor activity with family and friends.
