Support the UMLAUf's first water conservation initiative for a rainwater collection tank

An onsite rainwater collection tank would help conserve water by creating the ability to use rainwater for our prominent water feature in the garden.

1. UMLAUF uses an average of 14,006 Gallons of Water per month of City of Austin water.

2. A rainwater collection tank would save UMLAUF over $9,000 annually and benefit the City of Austin by curbing our dependence on groundwater, all the while reducing stormwater run-off near the iconic Barton Springs.

Austin Parks Foundation awarded the UMLAUF a $28,500 matching grant for the project so we are currently raising the matching funds.

We will recognize our Sponsors and Partners of this environmentally conscious initiative in print materials, on our website, in e-newsletters and social media posts that reach over 20,000 subscribers, and at the site of the rainwater tower itself which is visited by over 50,000 people annually.

Sponsorship levels include: $28,500 -- $15,000 -- $10,000 -- $7,500 -- $5,000 - $2,500 or an amount of your choice! Donations can be made through our website with “Rainwater Collection” in the comment section:
