
INTERNSHIPS
Curatorial
The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum is seeking a motivated intern to assist our Curator + Executive Director. This position will learn curatorial and administrative skills that support our museum and its archive, as well as in the development of exhibitions.


Programs
Programs Interns will learn how to develop and execute public programming for tours and events such as UMLAUF After Dark, Summer Camp, Shaping Space, and Family Day. The Programs Intern will support staff in all aspects of educational programming and community engagement for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
Development
The Membership + Development Intern will support the Development Manager in the maintenance and growth of membership, cultivation events, and fundraising. Interns may gain experience in database administration, donor mailing coordination, membership tracking, and grant writing.


Museum Administration
The Museum Administration Intern will assist the Museum Manager in behind-the-scenes work related to volunteer management and visitor services. This position will provide direct experience in a working nonprofit and is a great way to enter the arts community of Austin.
Visitor Services
The Visitor Services Intern will learn to be an ambassador and docent for the museum at our Public Programs and Front Desk. This position will work directly with the public. Interns will develop public speaking skills as they engage in meaningful conversation about the collection with visitors of all backgrounds.
