The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum meets with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. We are honored to be included in the first Fodor's Guide for Visitors with Special Needs.
Touch Tours & Audio Tours
Audio & "Touch" Tours of outdoor sculpture are available with advance notice for visitors who are blind or visually impaired.
"Sculpture & Me - We're Both 3-D!" Workshops
Summer workshops for students who are hearing, visually, or mobility impaired. These two-hour workshops include "touch tours" and an opportunity for each student to make a piece of sculpture to take home. Reservations are requested.
Other Tours
American Sign Language, Spanish, Italian, German, French, and Dutch speaking docents are available to conduct tours with advance notice. The Museum video is also available in Spanish.
Video
Spanish speaking and captioned for the hearing-impaired videos are available to visitors, introducing Charles Umlauf and the sculptures in the garden. These videos are also used by ESL students and foreign visitors.
