The Process

Step Nine

Presenting your proposal

Your teacher/facilitator will decide where, when, and to whom you will be presenting your proposals.

According to the Book of Lists, fear of public speaking ranks above fear of death and disease. One of the best ways to conquer fears is to be prepared. You can prepare yourself by practicing your presentation in front of your classmates.

Check out these websites for information on how to improve and prepare for public speaking:

Public Speaking Tips

Practice, Practice, Practice

Choose at least 2 team members to practice the presentation. Whether you are presenting in front of the student body or in front of your class it's always good to have a back up speaker in case someone can't do the speech at the last minute.

Your team can decide whether you want each member of the team to present one aspect of the project or just have one main presenter. You should practice your presentation two or three times.

Evaluating the Presentation

How was the presentation? You can download this presentation rubric to evaluate each team's proposals.

After evaluating your presentation you are ready for the conclusion of the project.
