Congratulations! You’ve worked hard to come this far and you’ve discovered the power public art has in community. You came up with an idea and solved many problems to make your idea work. You worked as a team, created samples, created a PowerPoint proposal, practiced presenting skills and now it's time to present your idea to your community.
Whether or not your project is chosen for construction, you have gone through a wonderful process of
translating an idea into a concrete possibility.
You’ve been learning how to work in a team, come up with creative ideas, create
PowerPoint proposals, build models, and make oral presentations. These are all skills that will help you in
the future. The skills you’ve acquired in this project can be applied
to science fair projects, beautifying your neighborhood, or even convincing your parents to re-decorate your room.
After finishing the project it is important to reflect and evaluate what you created. The evaluation rubric will help you focus on what you did well and what can be improved upon.
