Sculptor to Be!Kids Sculpture Workshop
Saturday, September 6, 1:30-3:00pm
Garden Creatures Do you love to watch mockingbirds, blackbirds, and cardinals? Those and other creatures can be found running wild at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and in other gardens, yards, and parks all over Austin. Join us in creating our own fanciful birds, squirrels or lizards out of air-dry clay, and get a chance to learn fun molding and decorating techniques! Instructor: Lucy Lenoir

Sculptor to Be!Kids Sculpture Workshop
Saturday, October 4, 1:30-3:00pm
Mixed Media Sculpture
Create a mixed media Wonder! Learn about Famous Artists: Frank Stella and Louise Nevelson. Our activities will focus on building an organic sculpture using the materials of cardboard, wood scraps, acrylic paint, and wood glue. Students will continue to developing basic skills of Composition, Design, Balance and Color while creating a fun and exciting sculpture! Instrctor: Leroy Woodward, Fee:$12

Sculptor In Me!Adult Sculpture Workshop
Saturday, October 18, 1:30-3:30pm
Hands In Clay
Learn the fundamentals of the ancient (but very modern) art of ceramic sculpting: slap, push, press and squeeze! In this very hands-on class, each student will learn the basic clay techniques while sculpting. Working with water-based clay, using slabs and coils, each student will create at least one ceramic sculpture. Clay and all tools are provided. Instructor: Steve Dubov, Fee: $20
