Metalworks!
Learn to stamp and texture sheet metal to create a personalized one-of-a-kind pendant piece! Students will be introduced to metal-working techniques such as creating links and chains out of wire. This is a fun and rewarding project that will develop hand eye coordination and introduce students to working with hand tools to create wearable works of art! Instuctor: Laritza Garcia

Monday June 16 & 23 “Earth Energy Pyramids” Sheila Fleming
The ancients believed that the pyramid shape could draw power from the universe through its unique form. Young artists will draw power themselves while constructing their own pyramids using heavy paper material, acrylic paint and found objects! Join us for Art, History and fun!
Tuesday June 17 & 24 “Soapstone Carving” Emily Bolt
People have been carving stone sculptures for over one million years! Learn how rocks are formed and create your own soapstone carving! By learning how to carve, students will exercise their spatial thinking and fine motor skills. Students will be given creative freedom to carve their own design. Use your patience and imagination while experiencing the fine art of stone carving!
